Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
We were thrilled to welcome the NSW Minister for Roads and local member to parliament to our school recently in celebration of Walk Safely to School Day. This special occasion highlights the importance of safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly travel choices for our students. Walking to school offers numerous benefits, it promotes physical health, encourages social interaction, and helps our children develop important road safety awareness from a young age. Our school community continues to work closely with parents, local authorities, and organisations to ensure that every child can enjoy a safe journey to and from school.
In 2025 we presented a school production titled Night At The Library for our school community. Each class were tasked with creating an item based on a book that came to life in the library at night.
We have a strong community at Rainbow Street Public School were everyone is welcomed. We celebrate a number of events throughout the year and invite our school community to join us for the celebration.
"The school fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued. The dedicated staff create a supportive and inspiring atmosphere that encourages creativity, growth, and a strong sense of community.” — a parent of Rainbow Street Public School
